Practicing in Helsinki
At Tuesday I found my way to skatepark of Savela. BMX mate waited me on parking lot. I had to forget dreams about marvellous jumps because park was all soft and soppy. But we decided to go to cruising and practicing some wheelie. CRASH!! Dude felt down, sprained ankle and pratices are over. Atleast I got few tips for my own wheelie and today I tried to accomplish those tips. It's going better all the time!
There is a story about our trip to Copenhagen in Retkikunta's website http://www.retkikunta.net/09/, but ofcourse that's in finnish.

Points to Norwegian Airlines
Training camp in Copenhagen is over. I needed two hands for brushing my teeth on Monday night. What are the facts of journey:
Journey took four days. Flights cost 160e, hostel 80e, metros 20e, eating less than 70e. If I had booked flights earlier I could have get it them cheaper. Hostel was next to the track, so that one I wouldn't change. Hostel in city center might be cheaper, but also taking bike to metro costs 1,6e for one time. Eating wasn't fixed with the cheapest way. Budjet includes couple times eating in restaurant. Hole trip was worth it.
Norwegian airlines earned couple hoorays. There wasn't any problems with bikes, or having handluggage and helmet in cabin. I recommend Norwegian to everyone!
Word for BMX: One of the high lights was when we practiced starts. Full gate and tight battle who dares to pedal farest to the first pump. Exciting! Other thing I remember was winning the full track pumping competition. I don't know how seriously the other ones took it, but I'm satisfied to be first over finish line :) Track was maybe faster and longer so I had to change that transmission to 44/16 after the first day.
Little problems with camera, so photos are coming during next weekend.

Quick hi from Copenhagen
Practising in Copenhagen is progressing nicely. The track, meaning world championship track, is awesome. Surprise surprise.
Friday went to getting used to the track. Difference between finnish tracks and Copenhagen track is inexpressible. I also tried the supercross starting hill. Braking all the way down and crashed anyway :) heh
One really good thing is that I'm feeling comfortable even if the bike is not in full control.
This is just incredible. One thing is sure; I'm coming back on December!

Riding in Lahti
I have become addicted. BMX is unbelievable stuff. It's my drug. If real drugs makes even nearly the same feeling as racing, I got to understand people who are addicted to drugs.
Today I was practising in Lahti. I stood up in starting hill. I was menth to take a break, 'cos I had just ride one lap with full speed. I couldn't wait. Racing is so fabulous. I noticed that I have also got better. Sometimes speed was so fast that I was little afraid, at the same time it was feeling so great that I wanted to go even faster. It's not only the magical feeling what BMX makes, it also made me be able to see in dark.
Try it!

Getting ready for trip to Copenhagen
Again mama Leinonen praises me. After washing my bike I tried to fit it in hockey bag, which wasn't as easy as I had thought. Luckily, by friend got bigger bag. I'm only afraid what airline is gonna say.
Unfortunately also the 17 tooth rear cog which I got didn't fit to my bike. But I have been quite satisfied with transmission 44/18 I got at the time.
