The project aims to my participation in BMX racing World Champs in July 2012. I will race in two different classes: Challenge 17 & over women and Cruiser 17-29 years old women.
My background in sports is polymorphous: I have played icehockey for 18 years and I have tried all sports from ballet to motocross. I started BMX when I was a kid at the time when I raced motocross. We weren't allowed to race motocross near home, so we raced "park-cross" with bicycles.
BMX Racing is a sport where you ride a bicycle on a track, like motocross. BMX Racing became an Olympic sport on 2008. There are devotees from babys to grandpas and let's not forget grandmums. In Finland BMX is better known as doing tricks with bike.
